After "Preparation" in vShield Manager, the system will create a vmkernel port for each ESXi host in the cluster. What are thoes vmkernel port used for? The VM are connected to VXLAN vWire, you should be able to talk wo each other on different physical ESXi host through uplink. Then why do we need those vmkernel port?
could anyone share some lights on this?
