I am trying to get hold of the vRO Java REST SDK example code

On the vRO 7.2.0 appliance, there are .jar files in the o11n-rest-client-examples. unable to locate the source. Am I doing something wrong?
Also checked on the VMware Sample Exchange All Samples - Samples - VMware {code} that has a handful of vRO example codes. However, not much using vRO Java REST SDK.

PowerCli - Change Harddisk type from IDE to SCSI
Experts,
In my solution i have some (over a 100) VMs that i need to change their harddisk type from IDE to SCSI. In order to do that, i need to go into every VM vmdk file and change ddb.adapter = “ide.” to “lsilogic.”. Then remove the old IDE harddisk and add a new SCSI harddisk. In order to do that, i will need to login into every host navigate to the VM vmdk file and manually replace the attribute and save the file. Is there a fast way to do that using powerCli that can change/replace the adapter type with a script on the fly without having to download/update all the vmdk files locally on my PC? I have been reading a lot of posts here but none seems to accomplish what i'm looking for. This was the closest but the change is not on the fly (What is the best way to change the Virtual Device Node of a HardDisk from IDE to SCSI? ) .. help is appreciated.

色々な情報を頂けて大変助かります。
確認したところ、検証環境のため、メンテナンスモードに移行せずにSSHからrebootコマンドで再起動を実施していたことがわかりました。
ただ、これが原因かわからず、こちらでもう一度再現しようとNTPの設定を変えて、SSHからrebootコマンドで再起動を実施してみたところ、NTP設定が変更後の保存された状態で再起動されました。
これだけが原因ではないようでしたので、再現手順をもう少し調査してみようと思います。
ESXiを何度か入れなおしていて、何度も再現していたので何かしら起因になるものがあるようですので、再現手順や回避手順が判明しましたら、また投稿させてもらおうと思います。
こちらの確認不足ですみませんでした。

LUN Masking
Hi All. I'm studying to VCAP, and I have a question about LUN Masking process. I'm using vjenner study guide.
When I try to reclaim the LUN using the command esxcli storage core claiming unclaim, I receive a message error "Unable to unclaim path. Some paths may be left in a unclaimeb state. You will need to claim them manually using the appropriate commands or wait a periodic path claiming to reclaim them automatically". All previous commands are made successfully, and the rule was created. Could you help me?

Thanks but In the past you were able to break the licenses and apply 1 license to a single cpu server x6.
I know that technically it works with v6.0 and v6.5 as I have tried it in a test lab.
What I am looking for is the answer from VMware officially about this and was hoping someone here might have a link to that text from the past still, but valid today

Qlogic HBA 2562 showing different firmware version
Hi All,
We have IBM x3850 x5 with dual port 8 GB qlogic 2562 FC HBA. when I run the command "/usr/lib/vmware/vmkmgmt_keyval/vmkmgmt_keyval -a" to check the firmware and driver, I see two firmware version as highlighted in red.
Can you let me know whats the actual firmware and why ?

essential kit in HP custom esxi
i have essential kit license with 3 esxi nodes. my hardware server is HP. can the essential kit license apply in HP custom esxi image? can i use vsphere client to direct configure esxi apart from using vcenter?

vSAN default Storage Policy Raid Configuration
Hi All,
I am new to vSAN. In default vSAN storage policy, there is no raid configuration information. My requirement is to have Raid-1 as default.
Unfortunately, I cant find any documentation on this. Hope some experts can advise on this.

Resolved. Thanks. Your reply was spot on.
As soon as I corrected the guest OS setting as you instructed, on next start of the VM the following new error was displayed:
NX/XD is required by windows9 guests. The processor must support NX/XD and it must be enabled in the BIOS.
Seeing that, we entered BIOS on the failing host, enabled "Use XD Capability" and now all Win10 VMs are running fine on that previously failing host.
btw ... The VM I had provided vmware.log for had been upgraded to Win10 from Win7. After the upgrade we had failed to reset the VMware guest OS setting accordingly.

Horizon 7.2 - Change vGPU Profile on instant clone pool?
I have a lab environment with a GRID card in it. I changed the vGPU profile on the parent image, and wish to push a new snapshot to the pool. In Horizon 7.1, I was able to change the vGPU profile in View under the vCenter Settings tab, but now that it's automatically detected from the original parent image snapshot in 7.2, it seems my only option is to delete and re-create the entire pool. The new snapshot doesn't show up when I try to push image, and if I click the show all images checkbox, I can see it with the error "Snapshot NVIDIA GRID GPU is different from the one configured on the pool." I would hope there is a way around this that didn't require rebuilding the pool, but will deal with it for now.

Re: Jumbo frame questions
It is best practice to have jumbo frames enabled for vMotion network. Also, similar to what everyone else has said, you should enable jumbo frames end to end. Also, what version of VMware tools are you running? Do you have RSS enabled on the NICs of the VMs that experience the packet drops? Long shot but have a look at these articles, may be helpful.

Hi,
Sticky configuration using SSL Session ID can be set only in using SSL paththrough mode.
If SSL paththrough is disabled, sticky using SSL Seesion ID cannot be used because SSL session is terminated by NSX Edge.
The detail of NSX LB Application profile is described in the below.

NetBIOS Name Already Exists
Hello Guys, I use VMware workstation as a virtual lab so I create lots of domains on my Windows server 2012 for different purposes. The issue I am having is while promoting server to the domain controller. I have created a domain xyz.combefore on one of the server which do not exist now. The Net-BIOS name I used was XYZ . I have deleted all the files related to that machine. Now I am trying to create same domain with same Net-BIOS name but I get an error that the Net-BIOS name is already in use and suggests me to create new name. I doubt that the Net-BIOS name is stored somewhere in VMware or network adapter (I have no idea). Is there any way to clear these stuffs so that I can use same Net-BIOS name ?

I reported same issue over a week ago, was told it is a known issue caused by changes Apple made to USB processes and that VMware has reported it to Apple and is tracking it. No workaround exists, no resolution likely until 10.12.6 is out of beta status.

Is there a way to import a list of datastores that need to be unmounted from all hosts that have them mounted, then find each host that has that datstore mounted and unmount the datastore from all hosts?

Remove datastores from host profiles
Is there a way to import a list of datastores and then for each datastore, find all host profiles that specify that this datastore should be mounted, and automatically update the host profile to NOT require that datastore to be mounted to the hosts it is applied to?
